Executive Search Process

PHASE 1: DILIGENCE

  • Briefings conducted with client management team and Board of Directors to scope need
  • Written Candidate & Position Specification developed and approved by client
  • Research conducted to target best sources of executive talent and potential candidates

PHASE 2: SOURCING

  • Sources and prospects contacted
  • In-depth telephone interviews conducted to determine best prospects
  • Third party reference checks taken
  • List of qualified, interested prospects reviewed with client to compile target candidate list

PHASE 3: ASSESSMENT

  • Target candidates interviewed in person by New Berkshire Partners
  • Written candidate presentations prepared and reviewed with client
  • Candidate short list developed for client meetings

PHASE 4: CLIENT MEETINGS

  • Short list candidates interviewed by client
  • Client and Board members conduct follow-on interviews with 1-2 leading candidates and select finalist

PHASE 5: CANDIDATE HIRING AND ONBOARDING

  • References conducted on final candidate
  • Preparation, delivery and negotiation of offer and acceptance by successful candidate orchestrated by client and New Berkshire Partners
  • Continuing follow-up with principals (client/successful candidate) to ensure both immediate and long-term success
